i usually don't find many good restaurants on the eastside.
but a few of my friends wanted to check out this hot pot place in alhambra.. and i absolutely loved it!
it's a taiwanese version of shabu-shabu.
you can share or get your own individual hotpot for $12-18.
i had the hoikkado japanese kelp flavored broth with pork and seafood. (meat choices: pork, beef, chicken, lamb) and/or seafood plus veggies and noodles. (some other choices include: japanese miso broth and chinese herbal broth.)
and most definitely order something from their milk tea selection.
i recommend the hoikkado milk tea.
